Speaking at the occasion, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked her cabinet to discharge their duties with utmost honesty; to achieve the government’s goal of establishing Bangladesh as a hunger-and-poverty-free developed and prosperous country, reports BSS. Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam greeted the prime minister at the outset of the meeting by presenting her with a bouquet, the source said. President Abdul Hamid administered the oath of office, and oath of secrecy, to Sheikh Hasina and members of her council of ministers.
