Akeem Eubank-Anderson, Sam Dillamore, and Paul Hodgson are to name but a few players that have been enticed to Braywick Park and are in contention to feature for Maids against Bournemouth at Chapel Gate this weekend. Speaking to the Advertiser this week, Mobbs-Smith said: “There’s a handful of new players, and popular players, that will show up this weekend for our first game of the season. “We played one friendly in pre-season, it was against Wimborne on August 19 and while we did win the game, it was more about trying out different tactics and different players. We will see.”--Windsor and Marlow Rugby Clubs also get their campaigns underway on Saturday, with newly promoted Marlow hosting Old Priorians in the Regional 2 Thames league. They'll kick off their season with a trip to Beaconsfield, who were relegated alongside them last season.
