Make it at Market brushmaker wins Queen's scholarship


Lucinda Goulden from Trowbridge will use the scholarship to train with three master craftspeople across America and the UK. The 30-year-old is a woodturner and maker of heirloom-quality handcrafted make-up brushes using traditional craft techniques. She is dedicated to spreading awareness of brushmaking which is an endangered craft that Lucinda is passionate about reinvigorating in the UK. Lucinda Goulden, from Trowbridge, has become the first UK brushmaker to receive a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust scholarship.
