The striker sparked transfer speculation last week when he opened the door to an exit from Tottenham, insisting the club must match his ambition. Manchester United had already been linked with a move for Kane and were given a huge boost by goalscorer’s comments. Tottenham have slapped a £200million asking price on Kane and are fearful of losing their talisman this summer. United are long-time admirers of Kane, but chief executive Ed Woodward feels their chances of signing the England international are remote.
