One man was killed Thursday and two other people were wounded in three separate shootings in Southeast and Northeast Washington, according to D.C. police. The fatal shooting occurred shortly before 4 a.m. in a parking lot near the 2700 block of Bruce Place SE, in the Woodland Terrace public housing complex just off Suitland Parkway. In the summer of 2015, it was flooded by police officers in an attempt to quell an outbreak of shootings. Police said a man from Temple Hills, Md., was shot during a dispute. The woman told police the gunman shouted, “It y’all turn” and then opened fire several times.
