SIBU: The police are on the hunt for three men who allegedly robbed a 52-year-old man of RM800 who had hired a prostitute. Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the victim was walking along Jalan Central here at 12.30pm on Sunday (June 9) when a woman waved at him and propositioned him for sex. They snatched his wallet which contained RM800 and fled," ACP Stanley said. ACP Stanley said the man lodged a report at the police post at the UTC (Urban Transformation Centre) here. He added that the case is being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for armed robbery.
