Police say a man backed into the road on Kenilworth Avenue last night and was hit by a car. Witnesses told investigators the man was seen talking to people on the sidewalk when he walked backwards into the road. Police say a white Hyundai sedan was traveling southbound on Kenilworth, and it hit the man when he entered the roadway. "The man was last reported in hospital with serious injuries that were said to be non life threatening," police said in a news release. No charges have been laid at this time, say police, and the Hyundai driver was unharmed.
