A man who was attacked by the mob after allegedly stabbing six people in Nairobi West shopping centre on Wednesday killing two on the spot has been detained for 14 days. William Mwathe Kamore was detained by Kibera Senior Principal Magistrate Monica Maroro after police constable Geoffrey Mudeya filed a miscellaneous application before the court. Mudeya, a detective attached to Langata police station, told the court that he needed 14 more days for him to complete investigations. He told the court that the suspect while armed with a knife randomly stabbed at least six people in the shopping centre. The suspect did not object to his detention but told the court that he was badly attached by the mob.
