Distraught Maritzburg United boss Farook Kadodia has been left with the daunting challenge of resurrecting the club and his private business at the same time. Kadodia had already been in the process of looking for funding to boost the club’s well-reported low fortunes when his store in Hammarsdale was ransacked on Monday amid the civil unrest in the country. The United managing director and chairperson said it was a surreal experience as he watched hundreds of people damage and loot his shop on a remote security camera at his home in Pietermaritzburg.
