Details of Marlow’s Christmas lights switch-on event have been announced as the town looks to welcome in the festive season. Flicking the switch on November 23 is writer and Marlow resident, Robert Thorogood, mastermind of the hit BBC murder mystery TV show ‘Death in Paradise’. Robert said: "I’m so excited to be turning on Marlow’s Christmas lights. Among other titles, Robert is also the author behind the Marlow themed murder mystery books, The Marlow Murder Club and Death Comes to Marlow. Marlow town mayor, David Brown, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have Robert Thorogood as our special guest to illuminate our beautiful town.
