A preparatory meeting was held on Wednesday in Rajshahi to ensure successful observance of National Voters' Day-2026, scheduled for March 2, with due dignity and a festive atmosphere. It was chaired by Divisional Commissioner and Committee President Dr ANM Bazlur Rashid. In his remarks, the Divisional Commissioner highlighted that citizens’ participation as voters forms the foundation of democratic governance. He stated that National Voters’ Day is not merely a formality, but a significant initiative to raise awareness about voters’ rights and responsibilities. The committee expressed optimism that coordinated efforts across the division would ensure the successful celebration of National Voters’ Day-2026 and further strengthen democratic practices.
