The head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, has met a group of community figures and social representatives from Tripoli as part of efforts to strengthen public engagement in the political process. The meeting, held on Wednesday in the capital, focused on the role of national figures in supporting state-building efforts and reinforcing security and stability. According to the Presidential Council’s media office, participants discussed the importance of inclusive political dialogue in fostering national consensus and reaching lasting solutions to Libya’s ongoing crisis. Attendees backed Menfi’s efforts to promote peace, unify institutions and move towards elections, while supporting his calls for national unity, anti-corruption measures and reconciliation as key to lasting stability in Tripoli.
