Kayla Boor was spotted lying in a pile of rubble under a building site in east LondonA young mother who was hit by a pallet of bricks that fell from a crane at a building site has died. Michaela Boor, 29, known as Kayla, had just dropped off her child at school when the incident occurred outside a new housing development in Mile End, east London. Officers attended at 9.38am on Tuesday after bystanders spotted her lying in a pile of rubble and broken wood. Ms Boor, who lived in Bromley, south London, was a jewellery designer and had recently got engaged. She died in hospital yesterday and a post-mortem examination will be carried out, police said.
