MINNEAPOLIS—Minnesota officials said Saturday they were deploying additional law-enforcement resources to help keep order in a city that has been racked by violence following the death of George Floyd on Monday, and pleaded with Minneapolis residents to obey an 8 p.m. curfew. Tim Walz said he was fully mobilizing the state’s National Guard after a night of rioting and violence, leaving open the possibility of requesting federal troops.
