Mobile Phones, Photography and Videography Banned in Kedarnath Temple PremisesWith the ongoing craze of making reels and being viral on social media, netizens have crossed their limits of content creation in the wrong places at the wrong time. Recent episodes of dancing and proposing in front of the Kedarnath temple has sparked an outrage regarding dishonouring the decorum of religion and sanctity of faith. Following this unstoppable storm of social media addiction, the authorities have rolled out notices and sign boards to ban photography and videography in the premises of the Temple of Kedarnath. Also, an appeal to wear appropriate clothing and traditional attires in the premises of the temple is requested by the visitors. It has also been noticed , as devotees often set up tents and camps in and around the temple, which is also prohibited.
