PITTSBURGH — The education of Jesperi Kotkaniemi is continuing and he hopes the lessons he learned over the past two days pay dividends when the Montreal Canadiens meet the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena Saturday (7 p.m., City-TV, TVA Sports, TSN-690 Radio). When asked about facing Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, Kotkaniemi noted that he already faced Auston Matthews and John Tavares. Malkin isn’t the greatest faceoff man in the NHL but he and Crosby have enjoyed success against Montreal in the past. Pittsburgh coach Mike Sullivan said he expected another tough game against the Canadiens. “Teams are relying more on speed and the Canadiens are one of those teams,” Sullivan said after the morning skate.
