A Lagos-based mother of three, Odunola Adegoke, has appealed to well-meaning Nigerians for urgent financial assistance to undergo a life-saving breast cancer surgery. She noticed her breast had become hard, swollen and painful, prompting her hospital visit, where tests confirmed cancer. “Normally, the breast is expected to return to its usual state after breastfeeding, but mine was swollen and hard. Since the diagnosis, she has undergone six chemotherapy sessions but was forced to halt treatment due to financial constraints. Her condition worsened in 2025 when she returned to the hospital with severe pain, only to learn that the cancer had spread to her liver.
