The incident which took place in Uttar Para area early Friday morning also left four other family members injured. The deceased are Omar Ali, 28 and his mother Ashura Begum, 60. The injured family members are his father Somir Ali Molla, 67, wife Kakoli Khatun, 26, brother Kader Ali Molla, 40 and his Kader's wife Rubina Khatun, 30. Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Rafiqul Islam said the injured were in critical condition.
