A motorist was killed Sunday night in the Laytonsville area of upper Montgomery County when his car crashed into a large tree and caught fire, authorities said. Aaron Michael Girson, 21, of Garfield Court in Gaithersburg, was trapped in the vehicle, said fire department spokesman Pete Piringer. His car hit the tree on Route 108, Laytonsville Road, just north of Hawkins Creamery Road, Montgomery County Police said. Police ask that anyone with relevant information, contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620.
