MOTORISTS, especially newcomers to Kuala Terengganu, are losing their way and missing turns as they find it impossible to read certain road signs which have been blocked by trees and hawker stalls. An administration clerk, Mariam Ngah, said it was high time the authorities trimmed the trees, and warned food stall operators to not block road signs. “Although I have no problem travelling in the city even without the road signs, the same cannot be said for visitors to the city. “From my observation, most of the road signs are blocked by tree branches,” she said. Retired civil servant Hassan Mat Nor said the canopies used by some food operators along Jalan Kuala Terengganu-Kuala Berang had also blocked road signs.
