She was due to spend the day with seven-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter. On the day of her sister's death, Ms Callaghan had been out with the two children and had planned to meet Mrs McCormack so they could all spend time together. It was soon after that they found Mrs McCormack in the bath and, despite help from paramedics, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner said: "Lynne had consumed a significant quantity of alcohol prior to the bath at home on that day. Mrs Cundy concluded that the death was caused by "misadventure".
