The popular sitcom on Indian television'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' which also is one of the longest-running show on the small screen often hits headlines considering its characters are much loved by fans. The emseble cast had shifted to Daman for shooting but Munmun Dutta wasn't part of the entourage and remained absent in the several episodes. Dismissing reports that Munmumn is no longer part of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s production house, Neela Film Productions Pvt Ltd owned by Asitt Kumar Modi told ETimes that the actress very much remains a part of the 'TMKOC' family. He said, "Munmun Dutta continues to remain part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Babita ji. Reportedly, no storyline featuring her was introduced recently and so Munmun wasn't shooting for the show.
