She may not be able to gather with her Toronto Symphony Orchestra colleagues, but ongoing gathering restrictions are not keeping TSO Violin Jennifer Thompson from playing music. She has a ready-made chamber group at home. For today’s Musical Moment, Thompson enlisted the aid of her children and husband to create a lively combo of two pieces. To begin, son Jack takes the lead on Weber’s “Hunters’ Chorus,” followed by the rest of the family — daughters Hannah and Maggie on violin and cello, with husband John also on cello — playing the ever-popular first movement of J.S. A talented musical household indeed!
