A Russian 'inspector' spacecraft has changed its orbit to closely follow a secret American spy satellite. Russian 'inspector' spacecraft Cosmsos 2542 appears to have changed orbits so it can closely follow American spy satellite USA 245. Pictured: Cosmos 2542 following USA 245After Cosmos 2542 - which monitors other satellites - launched in November 2019, it was bypassing USA 245 only every 11 or 12 days. In a Twitter thread, Thomspon explained how the Russian satellite innocuously moved closer to the American one. However, between January 20-23, Cosmos 2542 made several maneuvers to end up in the same orbit as the US satellite.
