Islamabad: The arrival of the special plane of the US Vice President, who was visiting Pakistan for ceasefire talks with Iran, was unusually delayed. The plane arrived in Islamabad about three and a half hours later than scheduled. The plane had departed at 5:47 pm Pakistan time. According to sources, the plane also avoided Afghan airspace and entered Pakistani territory near Chitral, where the American plane was warmly welcomed into the airspace. It has also been reported that the plane’s call sign for this trip to Islamabad was “SAM095”, indicating a special government air mission.
