By Christopher OjiThe National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), has received 126 stranded Nigerians assisted back to the country from Libya. The Director General of the Agency, Mr. Mustapha Habib Ahmed, while addressing the returnees urged Nigerians to be wary of close associates; family friends, neighbourhood and elders who would deceived the with sweet talk of better life in foreign land. The DG who was represented by Southwest Spokesman of NEMA, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, said,” these people are found cashing-in as messiah to helping Nigerians to slavery which the victims would regret through the rest of their lives”. “The Returnees were voluntarily airlifted from Misrata, Libya ,consisted of 62 adult females, six female children and four infant females. “Other agencies that joined NEMA are Nigeria Refugee Commission, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Department of State Services, Police and Nigeria Immigration Service”.
