The family of former president Uhuru Kenyatta has been told by the authorities to hand over any firearms they may have .The Firearm Licensing Board in Nairobi will receive 28 firearms that are registered in the family's name. Uhuru swore to protect his family from any attacks. Instead of going after his family, he dared the authorities to confront him head-on. "I gave my all for my country, turned in my service when my time was up, and now I'll do everything in my power to protect my family." The former president pleaded with the government to settle any political differences with him alone rather than involving his own family.
