NPA raises fuel price floor for March 1 window

Under the new price floor, motorists are expected to pay GH¢10.46 per litre of petrol and GH¢11.42 per litre of diesel. The NPA has stated that no Oil Marketing Company (OMC) is permitted to sell below the revised prices. This represents a slight increase compared to the second pricing window of February 2026, when petrol sold at GH¢10.24 per litre. GOIL has also revised its prices, with petrol now at GH¢10.46, diesel at GH¢12.53, and Super XP at GH¢13.50. For consumers, the fuel price hike could translate into higher prices for goods and services, as motorists and vehicle owners will likely spend more on fuel in the coming days.
