Politics of Thursday, 9 April 2026Source: www.ghanaweb.comThe New Patriotic Party (NPP) has revised guidelines to streamline its internal elections, following challenges that emerged during the ongoing registration and electoral processes across the country. The revised guidelines span polling station, electoral area and branch elections as the party moves to strengthen internal processes, improve transparency and ensure a more credible electoral system. The NPP has also placed a cap on polling station elections, limiting committees to a maximum of 25. “Each Polling Station Elections Committee shall conduct up to twenty-five (25) Polling Station Executives' elections", the statement said. The NPP further entreated all stakeholders to, "familiarise themselves with these revised Guidelines and to adhere strictly to their provisions.
