Gibson Achonu, OwerriThe Imo State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Raji Ibrahim has narrated how Imo North Action Alliance senatorial district candidate, Ndubuisi Emenike, was killed. The late Emenike was allegedly shot dead by one Sydney Ogudoro, an Assistant Superintendent of the Corps. Assuring the people that Civil Defence Corps and other sister security agencies would investigate the matter thoroughly, Ibrahim described the suspect, Sydney Ogudoro, as one of the most tactical officers of the command. “We don’t want to believe that it was an accidental discharge because, in the Civil Defence Corps, we don’t believe in accidental discharge, this is because the suspect is one of our senior officers,” he added. He also said that the full weight of the law would prevail adding that the corps had issued the suspect a query, through in detention.
