"We should see the start of the repatriation process next year. The Japanese Ambassador said that they are directly communicating with top military and government officials regarding the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh. He said Myanmar, like Bangladesh, remains a traditional friend of Japan and there is a strong interest in both the countries. He shared four reasons why Bangladesh matters to Japan including growth potential and geographically strategic location. Ambassador Naoki said the Bangladesh government has done a wonderful job in terms of improving its climate for investments.
