Sports facili­ty was inaugu­rated by Presid­ent Mamnoo­n on Sunday­ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday announced that it would initiate a probe into alleged violation of rules in the construction of National Sports City project – just a day after its inauguration by President Mamnoon Hussain. Opening the project, spanning 44 acres of land, in Narowal on Sunday the president said the government was committed to providing modern sporting facilities to youth. However, the anti-graft watchdog in a statement said it had received a complaint that the Narowal Sports City was constructed at a cost of approximately Rs6 billion which was a violation of rules. Rangers nab 11 suspectsNAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has directed verification of the complaint received against the sports city. Ganjera was the project director at the Narowal Sports City.
