The National Assembly has today passed the BBI bill. Only yesterday, President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga asked Members of Parliament in the National Assembly and Senate to pass the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2020. Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo voted in support of the BBI bill. There is no unanimity that, with BBI, women will finally break the chains of under-representation in sharing the national cake. He called on his fellow leaders from Nyeri county to support BBI as it is a representation of the constituents' wishes.
