Monrovia – At least 74 percent of results from the October 10 elections have been released by the National Elections Commission with the main contenders still far from attaining the constitutional 50 percent plus one vote required to be declared winner. Speaking on his optimism of winning the elections, Vice President Boakai said he went into the election and win. Based on our assessment of the evidence available, the results of these elections are not valid,” he told journalists on Friday. Urey has formally complained to the NEC that results coming out of the elections for him are unrealistic. Senator of Margibi County, Oscar Cooper, who contested the presidential elections as an independent candidate has gotten 7,826 votes which is 0.7 percent.
