Scotland fans booing of God Save the King on Tuesday night has sparked fierce debate in the country. Some argue that GSTK is booed because there is a line about 'crushing' rebellious Scots. He tweeted: "“Rebellious Scots to crush” Know your place and don’t be disrespectful." According to the Royal Family website, there are only two verses sung and neither make any mention of "rebellious Scots". The 'rebellious Scots' line was part of an anti-Jacobite verse written in 1745 at the time of the last uprising.
