Tech giant Apple has unveiled a new set of emojis which include bearded women, gay couples with different skin tones and a jab. And they embrace diversity with a range of couples from different ethnic backgrounds as well as varying skin colours for those in heterosexual or same sex relationships. Meanwhile, in November, the Mirror reported how iPhone users had been given access to 117 new emojis, with the release of iOS 14.2. Emojipedia explained at the time: “iOS 14.2 now supports 3,292 emojis. Emojipedia added in November: “The same new emojis are available in iPadOS 14.2, watchOS 7.2, tvOS 14.2 and the forthcoming macOS 11 Big Sur.
