New York City could restrict the number of people inside some public parks as it tries to reduce overcrowding and stem the spread of the new coronavirus during warmer weather, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday. Warm weather drew large crowds to some city parks last weekend. The city cannot let that continue if it wants to stop the virus’ outbreak through social distancing, the mayor said.
