Volkstok'n'barrell is enjoying a break in Queensland before his return home to prepare for a domestic Group I campaign. Volkstok'n'barrell collected minor placings in the Group II Hollindale Stakes and the Group I Doomben Cup and was given a break after tailing the field home in the Listed Wayne Wilson Mile at Eagle Farm. Peter Meecham Tobouggie Nights has been retired but bows out with a stunning steeplechase record. "Ideally, we'll look toward the Group I races at Hastings, there's the Captain Cook and then at Ellerslie."
