The newly appointed Economy and Trade Minister, Suhail Abu Shiha, has officially taken up his post following the completion of formal handover procedures, authorities said. The government’s “Hakomitna” platform said the transfer of responsibilities and official files was carried out in line with established administrative processes, in the presence of a designated committee, ensuring continuity of work. Abu Shiha’s appointment is part of a broader cabinet reshuffle announced by Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah, aimed at improving government performance and strengthening institutional stability.
