Photo: Video ScreenshotSANGSAD BHABAN, April 02, 2026 (BSS) - Industries Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir has said the government has pinned on massive industrialization to address unemployment in the country. “The government has taken extensive plans for industrialization under the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) and Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) to create employment opportunities and accelerate development,” he said. The feasibility study has been completed and DPP preparation is in progress. Regarding BSCIC, the minister said the corporation does not directly establish industries but develops industrial estates and parks where entrepreneurs set up factories.
