CAIRO-17 September 2020: Zamalek's club board member Ahmed Mortada announced on Wednesday that the club is in negotiations with 3 or 4 managers to take charge of the team. In a surprising move, French manager Patrice Carteron paid his release clause, allowing him to leave the White Knights ahead of a proposed move to Saudi Arabia to coach Al Taawoun. "We are in negotiations with three or four managers to take charge of the team after the departure of Patrice Carteron." The club board member said. Zamalek appointed former club manager Tarek Yehia as caretaker manager and he will manage the White Knights when they take on Aswan on Friday night.
