Farage and Brexit Party chair Richard Tice promised “fireworks, bands and comedians” at the bash, to be held tomorrow night on Westminster’s Parliament Square. But the Mirror can reveal organisers have been unable to deliver on any of these promises. Instead Brexiteers will be treated to speeches from Wetherspoons boss Tim Martin, radio host Julia Hartley-Brewer, Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry and Brexit Party MEP Ann Widdecombe. Funds raised will go to Leave Means Leave, the pro-Brexit campaign group under whose banner the event is being run. Boris Johnson this month announced plans for Union flags to be flown around Westminster on Brexit night, along with a light show on Downing Street.
