The Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) on Wednesday released an official statement clarifying that no Pakistani actor is a member of the association and that if they have applied for work permit, it won't get renewed. The statement was issued by Amit Behl, Senior Joint Secretary & Chairperson - Outreach Committee, CINTAA. CINTAA is the oldest and the largest union of performing artistes in the country. No Pakistani actor is a CINTAA member and the Pakistani actors who had applied for the renewal of their work permits, their permits have not been renewed. CINTAA strongly supports any directive from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Government, we are with them.
