Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population in Egypt said Wednesday that none of the vaccines being used in its vaccination campaign require a third dosage. The vaccines used in the drive are safe and effective, he assured, and implored all citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Through the Egyptian Drug Authority‎, Egypt has granted five vaccines an emergency license, he said, all of which have been safely approved. The Ministry of Health announced that it will soon begin producing Russia’s Sputnik V and China’s Sinovac vaccines at Vacsera. The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 13,168 nationwide, after the ministry announced 61 deaths.
