The pan-African institution published its 2023 North Africa Economic Outlook report in Tunis on Thursday 27 July, under the theme “Mobilising Private-Sector Financing for Climate and Green Growth in Africa”. Growth in North Africa in 2022 was moderate: 4.1% compared with 5.4% in 2021. North Africa should also strengthen its implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area to stimulate intra-African trade and investment.
