North Korea canceled a secretly planned meeting with Vice President Mike Pence during his trip to the Winter Olympics in South Korea this month, Trump administration officials said Tuesday, a session that would have amounted to the highest-level visit between the U.S. and North Korea in years. Before leaving for Asia on Feb. 5, Mr. Pence quietly agreed to meet with representatives of the North Korean regime, including leader Kim Jong Un’s younger sister, Kim Yo Jong, who proved a telegenic presence at the Olympic Games.
