The A527 Congleton Road in Biddulph will be closed for four days between 8am to 4pm. ‌A new 30mph speed limit will be introduced beginning at the junction with Grange Road, continuing up to the boundary of Forge Cottage. ‌The scheme, delivered by Staffordshire County Council, is set to be completed on Thursday (February 26) with a signed diversion route in place via the A500, A34 Newcastle Road and A34 Congleton Road. “Reducing the speed limit from 40mph to 30mph by the double bends on the road, the new road markings and improved visibility should help to keep the area safer.
