IT is almost like clockwork. Whenever the issue of subsidies is raised, the top 20% income earners (T20) becomes the punching bag. The narrative is that they don’t deserve the subsidies, especially for RON 95, and that it’s a waste of public resources for them to benefit from blanket subsidies.
