It was looking like it will be a no-contest with the way he was going but Blatherwick struck to get the better of him. Hales’ scratchy knock was also ended by Blatherwick and Livingstone outfoxed Munro with a smart piece of bowling soon after. A couple of more wickets fell in the quest to close the game early but the hosts had it pretty much covered. So, two wins in a row for Nottinghamshire and they would be pleased with that. Meanwhile, Lancashire need to ponder a lot as they slump to a fourth defeat in a row.
