CAIRO - 15 March 2021: The number of daily vaccinated citizens with COVID-19 vaccine varies between 1,000 to 2,000 people, according to Noha Assem, adviser to the Egypt’s Minister of Health Hala Zayed. The Health Ministry said in a Sunday statement that 644 new coronavirus cases were detected, upping the total number of confirmed cases to 190,924. Spokesman for the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said 44 patients have died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 11,300. The ministry then launched a website in order for citizens over 18 years old to register to receive the vaccine. Johns Hopkins University on March 15, announced that the total number of coronavirus cases reached 119.848.281 million around the world.
